No Need to Panic! Looks like once you’re snug in the hotel, it’ll snow Saturday. By the time you leave Sunday, the roads should be fine 🙂
Weather Discussion: Snow falls and mixes with rain this evening. Some areas could see an inch or two of snow accumulation north of I-70. High pressure is expected to move into the area for Friday, bringing dry conditions but staying rather cloudy. A significant winter weather event is expected over the weekend, as a strong area of low pressure moves northeast through the area. This will bring a mix of precipitation types to the area. Right now, it looks like 3-5 inches of snow is expected around Columbus, but the track and snowfall totals continue to fluctuate as precipitation cauld also be sleet or even freezing rain in some areas. We will have a better idea of the track once the low crosses into the Plains. Very cold air will move into the region for Sunday and next week.
